With Kenyan athletes facing a possible ban from the upcoming Rio Olympics for allegations of widespread doping, Kenyan President Kenyatta has signed a new anti-doping bill into law to prove that Kenya is serious about tackling cheats.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport has found bobsledder Nadezhda Sergeeva guilty of doping after she tested positive for a banned substance. This the second doping case for the Olympic Athletes from Russia team.
The B sample from the Russian curler suspected of doping at the Winter Olympics has come back positive. The anti-doping authorities have scheduled Alexander Krushelnitsky's hearing for Thursday.
The OAR team will have to wait until Sunday to find out whether they will be allowed to display their national flag at the closing ceremony for the Pyeongchang Games. A second doping case may have scuppered their hopes.
