Time to get back to business. The second quarter was a profitable one for big banks on both sides of the Atlantic. Deutsche Bank reporting a 68 percent jump in profits. Yet, financial institutions are still burdened by bad credit. Deutsche Banks's loan loss provision for the second quarter grew to one billion euros--almost a tenfold increase from the same time last year. A huge burden that is not hurting earnings. Here's more.
