A lack of snow in the Alps has sent European slope owners scrambling for alternatives to their traditional trade. In San Sicario, Italy, they've opted to re-open their summer grass ski slopes - with success.
The small ski resort of Frabosa Soprana nestles in the foothills of Italy’s Maritime Alps. It's particularly popular with locals and boasts typical Italian flair, good food and good wines.
