Israeli newspapers say Israel launched an airstrike on a Syrian military convoy outside of Damascus. The U.S. was allegedly informed of the attack.
The death toll from the most recent airstrikes in the Syrian city of Aleppo has risen to 30. Damascus and Moscow have both denied accusations from the opposition that they carried out the strike on the al-Qudos hospital.
The Russian air force will keep hitting "IS" and al-Nusra Front units in Syria as the Russian pullout continues, a top military official has said. Meanwhile, the UN has warned of dire conditions on the ground.
Lebanese militant leader Samir Kantar has been killed in an apparent Israeli strike that hit a building in the Syrian capital Damascus. Israel had released Kantar in 2008 as part of a prisoner swap with Hezbollah.
Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah says Turkey and Saudi Arabia have an ulterior motive to send troops to Syria. He claims that instead of fighting "Islamic State," they want to "gain a foothold in the country."
