On Thursday, the Turkish parliament considered a motion that would give the government new powers to launch military incursions in Syria and Iraq. The motion would also allow foreign forces to use its territory for possible operations against the Islamic State. Our Turkey correspondent is Dorian Jones and he explained to Helen Seeney the significance of Thursday's motion in parliament.
