Is strike fatigue a French occupational hazard?

France is known for being governed from the streets. Usually, if any given protest movement is big enough, governments tend to back down on whatever they are planning to do. But the current government is standing firm over its plans to make people work longer before they can claim a state pension. As a result, France this week ground to a halt. Air traffic, public transport, and garbage services were all disrupted by striking workers. But after more than a month of strikes, the French are starting to suffer from strike fatigue. Geneviève Oger has more from Paris.
