Consumers want to know where things they buy come from - including gemstones. Researchers have now come up with a means of gemstone labeling which can't be faked. The information about their origin is stored in artificial DNA implanted inside them.
Nanotechnologist Ben Feringa wants to make tiny robots that will repair a body's diseased cells from the inside. He began by building the world's smallest auto - made just a few molecules it can be steered and has 4-wheel drive.
