With little more than the clothes on their backs, the family was smuggled through Turkey and across the Aegean to the Greek island of Lesbos. Then, in April, the unthinkable happened. Pope Francis visited the island and took the family back to Rome with him. Dale Gavlak caught up with them at their new home in Italy.
