Inside Europe: The citizenship debate in Italy

In Italy, a new bill is raising hope for almost one million children and teens born in the country, but who are not Italian citizens. They’re the children of non-citizen, landed immigrants who under Italian law are not permitted to apply for citizenship until they turn 18. Even then, it’s not so easy.
