The Bank of England has just unveiled a new ten pound note. Adorning the new currency, is the image of one of the world’s best known writers of romantic fiction: Jane Austen. She died exactly 200 years ago and putting her portrait on the new note is a fitting tribute. The novelist not only wrote about love and marriage but also took a keen interest in…money.
