Inside Europe: Older mothers

Spanish mothers were once amongst the youngest in Europe. But with an average age of around 30 when giving birth to their first child, Spanish women are now the oldest mothers on the continent. This trend has worrying implications for the country's economy - it's predicted that within fifty years, forty per cent of the Spanish population will be over 65. So why do they choose to have kids later?
