Inside Europe: Migration through the Mediterranean

Earlier this month, a boat carrying some 180 migrants capsized off the coast of Tunisia. Over 100 are presumed dead. So why are migrants still putting their lives at risk to cross the Mediterranean Sea to Europe, particularly Italy? And what is the EU going to do to offer assistance?
