Inside Europe: Language law divides Hungary and Ukraine

In September the Kiev government passed legislation which specifies that Ukrainian will be the main language used in schools. The move was condemned by Budapest. That’s because Ukraine is home to a significant ethnic Hungarian minority which has its own schools there. And now the dispute could impact Ukraine’s hopes for closer integration with the EU and NATO. Stefan Bos has more from Budapest.
