Inside Europe: Italians sign up for weapons permits

In Italy there have been a number of shooting incidents in which property owners have killed burglars. That’s sparked a debate about what constitutes excessive force in cases of self defence and whether it’s justifiable to defend yourself with a weapon. People are allowed to protect themselves and their property against burglars operating only at night. Angelo Van Schaik reports.
