Inside Europe: Elephant graveyard under the Eternal City

Rome is renowned for its spectacular ancient ruins scattered throughout the city. Many of the ruins and artifacts date back to the founding of Rome some 2500 years ago. But an even older treasure trove from the past lies below the city, one that scientists are hoping will get more attention. As Megan Williams reports, these “mammoth” remains, shed an important light on the city's pre-history.
