In Spain, a torrent of corruption scandals has been plaguing the Popular Party of prime minister Mariano Rajoy lately. Many of its politicians are facing legal action. In recent days [Feb 20] a parliamentary commission investigating alleged financial irregularities by the governing party has resumed its work. But more and more scandals hit the headlines.
