After nine Major appearances, team Astralis managed their first victory at a Major this weekend at the ELEAGUE Major in Atlanta. The Danish team under coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen was able to beat Polish team Virtus.Pro in three maps with 2:1 (12:16, 16:14, 16:14) and took home the first place prize of $500,000.
After a disappointing group stage with only one win in four games, mousesports was out of the ELEAGUE Major. The German team reacted right away to its early exit and replaced Chris “chrisJ” de Jong with former mousesports player Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný.
