Thousands of homeless people live in Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles. It's not a pretty neighborhood and poverty, mental illness, drug use and crime are rife. Patroling police cars are an everyday sight, and people are used to the frequent sound of sirens. But every wednesday night you'll also hear the sound of music,when karaoke night birngs the neighborhood together-- to sing.
