It's comfortable to curl up in the evening with a sweet snack, but most baked goods and ready-made snacks are fatty and sugary. Air-popped popcorn is a great alternative. It's low in fat and calories, and contains a hefty amount of fiber. You can either use a special hot air popper or toss popcorn kernels in a paper bag and microwave them. Season your popcorn with garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon pepper or any other healthy seasoning you like, but skip the sugar, butter and salt. Two large cups of air-popped popcorn have 155 calories, 2 grams of fat and 6 grams of dietary fiber. How about that for a tasty and healthy evening snack?
