Back in 1930s, the Bentley 8 Litre was the largest passenger vehicle to roll off the assembly line in Britain. Its predecessors were renowned for the throaty roar they produced, but the 8 Litre was based on the idea that silence is golden.
A recent drive through the English countryside revealed nostalgia for the Britain of yesteryear, when the country was free from the clutches of the European Union - and Brits in Bentleys won prestigious races.
