Germans biggest consumers of BioProducts in Europe

German customers seem to love BioProducts, the German bio business grew by 1 per cent to €3billion ($3.8 billion) last year. Such has been the popularity of BioProducts that more and more conventional supermarkets have started stocking them, according to the spokesman of 'Biofach', the world's biggest BioProducts exhibition. The spokesman said business worth €23 billion was transacted worldwide last year, with the U.S. accounting for business worth €12 billion. Germany was the biggest European consumer of BioProducts with sales worth €3 billion, Britain ranked third with transactions worth €1.7 billion.
