German Shipyards looking for new ideas

One such idea: specialized vessels to transport and install offshore wind turbines. The first ship of its kind was built by the Sietas shipyard in Hamburg. It is the biggest, most modern and by far most complex ship that was built there. But it also came very close to being the last ever vessel that the yard built.
