The Bundestag will debate on Thursday whether German children should be given the right to vote. Parliamentarians from all parties have indicated they support people being allowed to vote from the day they are born. Parents would cast the ballots for their children. Germany's constitution, which allows citizens to vote from age 18, would have to be altered to give kids the vote. One-third of Germany's parliamentarians reportedly back such a change.
