German inflation slowed to 1.1 percent in November, according to figures released by the Federal Statistics Office. The office said the drop from 1.3 percent in October was led by a decline in food prices. The European Central Bank cut its key interest rate by half a percentage point last week in a move signaling that it is more concerned about slow growth in the euro zone than inflation. The bank said that slow growth will keep inflation in check next year.
