German Exports Remain Strong

Germany's trade surplus grew for the month of October according to figures released by the Federal Statistics Office. The trade surplus in October reached €11.1 billion ($11.2 billion) up from €10.9 billion in September. Growth in exports continues to outpace imports with foreign demand for German-made goods rising by 2.4 percent to €58.6 billion. Domestic demands remains sluggish easing by 0.1 percent to €47.6 billion.
