Germany exported fewer goods and services overall in October, although export business to other euro zone continued to gather pace. New figures from the Federal Statistics Office show exports dropped by 1 percent in October compared to the same period the year before. Germany's export business has become even more important as domestic spending slows. Analysts say exports to the U.S. and Japan also dropped in October.
