Pratina Kross: "We are a little Thailand here."
Pratina Kross was born in Songkhla in Southern Thailand. She moved to Germany when she was 30 to build a new life together with her five-year-old son. Kross trained as a hospitality professional in Rheinsberg and then moved to Berlin. Her true dream was to open up her own restaurant. When a friend offered her the opportunity to take over his restaurant, she didn't hesitate for long. Since 2012, she has been head of Dao by Meo in Charlottenburg.
Dao by Meo in Berlin's Charlottenburg district
Berlin Charlottenburg, Kantstrasse: the neighborhood is known as “Little Chinatown.” There are more Asian stores and restaurants here than anywhere else in Berlin. Dao by Meo has found its place in the Asian scene, with its curries making it one-of-a-kind.
