The UK’s largest water company has opened up a giant floating solar farm on the River Thames. It comprises 23,000 panels and is the size of eight football pitches.
A reservoir not far from London has been fitted with 23,000 photovoltaic panels to make it the world’s largest floating solar farm. The site generates enough power to run the local water treatment plants for decades.
