In this highlights edition: The Beaujolais Nouveau 2010 arrives, food stylist Frauke Koops, Pianist Maurizio Mastrini plays Bach and Beethoven backwards, Dutch designer Hella Jongerius and finally, chef Karl Ederer’s regional cuisine.

Beaujolais Nouveau 2010
According to a tradition dating back to 1985 the new vintage of Beaujolais Nouveau can only be sold after midnight on the third Thursday of November. Some Beaujolais enthusiasts drive non-stop more than 1000 km by car just to be the first to drink it.

Food Stylist Frauke Koops
In contrast to most other food stylists, Frauke Koops creates her edible displays without artificial aids or substitutes. That’s why her dishes literally taste as good as they look.

Pianist Maurizio Mastrini – Beethoven Backwards!
The Italian artist performs well-known classical works backwards. Euromaxx discovers that some of the pieces are recognizable - even when played in reverse.

Dutch Designer Hella Jongerius
Hella Jongerius made a name by using different materials and mixing old and new techniques. We portray the first woman to receive the coveted German Design Award.

Chef Karl Ederer’s Regional Cuisine
The cookbook market has been booming for a decade. Star chef Karl Ederer has just made his mark there as well. In Heimat Food he presents traditional and regional specialties.
