2013 DW euromaxx highlights

Pleasure Jam Snowboard Festival
This is a top lifestyle event featuring parties, film releases and plenty of snowboarding in Austria.

Mirror Artist Luzius Ziermann
Luzius Ziermann is a German artist with a thing for light and mirrors - and dramatic installations. In fact, his 2,000-square-meter work in Namibia could even be seen from outer space. Now he's taken his "Signature of Light" project to the amphitheater in the Italian city of Verona.

An Exhibition on Dior Perfume
French fashion designer Christian Dior was once quoted as saying that a woman's perfume tells more about her than her handwriting. He launched his first perfume in 1947. Called Miss Dior, it became a luxury classic. A new exhibition in Paris reflects its maker’s fundamental ties to the art world.

Sanssouci Palace
We visit the Sanssouci Palace in Germany. This UNESCO World Heritage site is located on the outskirts of Berlin in the state of Brandenburg and was the favorite haunt of Frederick the Great.

The Miniature Elbphilharmonie
The Elbe Philharmonic Concert Hall in Hamburg was originally designed to become a prestige landmark in the Northern German port city. However, it is already three years behind schedule and the cost of construction has risen faster than the building itself. In the meantime a miniature version of it is ready and we were at the opening.
