Casino giant Sands Corp has chosen Alcorcón - a suburb of Madrid - for a multi-billion dollar gambling resort project dubbed "EuroVegas". While the deal may bring thousands of jobs to a country suffering 25-percent unemployment, it has provoked outrage among those who suffer under Spain's austerity measures and point to mega-projects like this which they say were responsible for the country's current debt problems.
