According to a recently published study, the European Union may well fail to meet its goal of becoming the strongest economic region in the world by 2010. In a report to the EU government that was cited by the Berliner Zeitung newspaper on Tuesday, a group of high ranking economists came to the conclusion that the European bloc of 25 nations is lacking the will to reform and clear priorities. If the European countries don't begin to make swift changes, the durability of the economic and social models on the continent could be in danger, the report said.
