Our guests:

Jeremy Cliffe is buero chief of “The Economist” in Berlin. He says: "Merkel has provided stable and pragmatic leadership but she must become bolder in her fourth term to prepare Germany for the future.“

Matthew Karnitschnig is chief Europe correspondent for “Politico”. He says: "Germany is steering towards another grand coalition. In these tumultuous times, Germans long for political stability and consensus. And Germany is doing pretty well, so why change? At the end of the day, the Social Democrats won't be able to resist the temptation."

Charlotte Potts works for ZDF and DW as a presenter and political correspondent. She says: "The times of the grand coalition need to be over. Germany is ready for Jamaica."
