The mini computer Raspberry Pi is designed to encourage amateur inventors - and it's worked on one and a half million users worldwide. It seems that the possibilities are endless: Electric door openers, coffee machines or prosthetic legs can be run by the computer. The mini computer was invented in the British university town of Cambridge. IT specialist Eben Upton was one of the brains behind it. He noticed that the number of applicants wanting to study IT had fallen dramatically - by fifty percent over ten years - and he knew something had to be done.
