Early Detection of Parkinson's Disease

A study has found that people in whom an area of the brain responsible for producing dopamine interacts a certain way with ultrasound waves are much more likely to develop Parkinson's disease. Doctors are searching for ways of identifying people at risk for Parkinson's - and the ultrasound effect could provide the basis for an early diagnosis.
