Trump imposes tariffs - Leaders of 11 countries ink huge trade deal
China is "one of the most restrictive economies in the world," concluded a recent survey by the EU Chamber of Commerce in China. The chamber's president tells DW about European firms' challenges in doing business there.
American-German businessman Martin Richenhagen is far from happy about the Trump administration's aggressive trade policies. "We are surprised on a daily basis by strange initiatives," he told DW.
The EU has officially imposed tariffs on US jeans, motorbikes, bourbon and other items in response to a similar move from the US. The measures have some experts worried the world could be heading toward a trade war.
