Daimler Recall - NAFTA Talks - Lithium Bonanza
After authorities found major irregularities regarding final vehicle inspections, Nissan has announced a recall of 1.2 million cars sold domestically over the past three years and apologized for the "inconvenience."
The sports carmaker has become the latest Volkswagen subsidiary to be dragged into the group's emissions cheating scandal, after the German Ministry of Transport ordered a recall of thousands of Cayenne diesel models.
German carmaker Volkswagen and US authorities are expected to reach a settlement agreement, which might make it clear for the first time how much the "Dieselgate" emissions-cheating scandal would cost the company there.
