A Bulgarian Stew

Duvec Recipe:
Ingredients:
3 onions
5 carrots
2 zucchini
4 bell peppers
2 large tomatoes
5 potatoes
5 mushrooms
200 g celery
200 g green beans
1 kilogram pork shoulder
5 lamb sausages
garlic
thyme
green onions
Preparation:
Cut meat, sausage and vegetables into uniform pieces.
Salt and pepper the meat and sausage and sauté them in sunflower-seed oil for about 10 minutes. Remove them from the pan.
Add garlic, thyme and green onions to the vegetables and stir-fry in the same pan for about ten minutes.
Start with a layer of vegetables in the pot, then add a layer of meat and sausage, then a layer of vegetables, and so on - up to about five centimeters from the top of the pot.
Cover the pot and bake for an hour and a half at 140 degrees Celsius.
Serve Duvec hot from the pot right away.
