German gasoline prices have climbed to their highest level in 18 months, the Association of the German Petroleum Industry announced Monday. The average price for a liter of Eurosuper is €1.113 ($1.19), the association said. That is 7.4 cents more than the December price. The association blamed the increase on the next stage of Germany's environmental tax, which boosted the price by 3.6 cents on Jan. 1, and higher international prices.
