Japanese carmaker Toyota has indicated it's not expecting to profit directly from the huge emissions cheating scandal that has hit its German rival Volkswagen. Toyota is expecting little growth in sales next year.
The emissions cheating scandal may be bad news for Volkswagen, but the German automaker's rivals should probably consider sending a "Thank you" note to Wolfsburg. While many posted double-digit gains, VW sales suffered.
