Don Johnson to Sue Finance Ministry

Miami Vice star Don Johnson is planning to sue Germany's Finance Ministry after a car his was traveling in was stopped and searched, revealing €7.3 billion ($8 billion) in credit notes and other securities. The documents were later revealed as belonging to one of the other two people in the car, but that didn't stop the incident from being leaked to the German media last year. Johnson’s Hamburg-based lawyer Matthias Prinz is preparing to seek damages for the actor who claims the Finance Ministry tipped the media off about the case. The car carrying Johnson and two unidentified people was searched in a routine check at the Bietingen border post as it entered Germany from Switzerland in November 2002.
