Deutsche Bahn's Privatisation Plans on Track

The head of Deutsche Bahn AG, Hartmut Mehdorn, says he's sticking to plans to take the government-owned rail network on the stock market in the coming year. Mehdorn told the newspaper Die Welt that the company aims to be making sustained profits by 2005 and meet the standards set by the international capital markets so that the government can clear the way for stock market entry.
