American computer-maker Dell announced Friday it would cut 180 of its 680 workers in Germany by the end of September -- a 26 percent reduction. The company said it plans to move operations targeted at consumers and small businesses to a new facility in Bratislava, Slovakia, where it will hire close to 400 people. Across Europe, Dell employs about 8,000, but the company says it is planning more firings soon.
