Russia has approved an initial financial aid package for Crimea to help the local economy. So far, Russian companies have been cautious about investing in Crimea's economy although some will want to help boost the tourism industry there. And power supplies will soon come into focus, with Crimea dependent on Ukraine for 80 percent of its power needs.
