Some banks are supposedly "too big to fail." The G20-affiliated Financial Stability Board (FSB) publishes a list annually which aims to identify these banks. This year's list puts several American banks at the top.
With high-ranking politicians appearing in the Paradise Papers, officials around the globe were quick to react to the leak. The EU and India have started investigations while Russian and US officials were on the defense.
US soldier Bowe Bergdahl has been spared prison time for deserting his post in Afghanistan in 2009, but a military judge ordered that he be dishonorably discharged. President Donald Trump called the ruling a "disgrace."
