Former supermodel Claudia Schiffer has never lost her love of German sausage despite being based in Britain and always seeks out her favorite snack each time she returns to her country of birth, she has told a German magazine. "When I am in Germany I eat everything German -- liverwurst, salami, meat sausage, none of which you can get in Britain," the 35-year-old told Glamour magazine in its edition published on Thursday. "For example, the first thing I did in Berlin was to go to a snack stand and have a currywurst," Schiffer added, referring to the Berlin specialty of a sausage doused in curry-flavored ketchup. Schiffer said that despite her love of sausages, she had had no problem controlling her weight after the birth of her two children with her British film producer husband, Matthew Vaughn. "I breastfed for a long time and when I stopped, my weight went down. Since then, I've been able to eat whatever I want." Schiffer was one of the world's most sought-after catwalk models in the 1990s and still regularly appears in advertising campaigns.
