DW's two programming departments in Bonn and Berlin have been merged and on November 1, 2013. Director General Peter Limbourg appointed Gerda Meuer as DW's new Director of Programming. Meuer had previously headed DW Akademie. Her successor is Christian Gramsch.
Gramsch was previously DW's Director for Regionalized and Multimedia Content and for DW's radio and online services.
