Selfies are ideal tools for self-promotion online. They attract attention – and attention is power. Celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Ashley Benson all post selfies for marketing purposes. Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has even published a coffee table book containing more than 300 selfies.
