Cameroon defied all expectation when a team touted as one of the worst ever beat Ghana to make it to the final in the Africa Cup of Nations. The win sparked a joyous celebration among the large Cameroonian population in Libreville, Gabon.
Two second-half goals completed a stunning comeback for Cameroon against overwhelming favorites Egypt. Just as the game seemed to be heading for extra-time, the underdogs scored late on to record a famous victory.
Cameroon struck twice in the second half to secure passage to the Africa Cup of Nations final, putting the result beyond any doubt with a second in stoppage time. Egypt now await Cameroon, in a repeat of 2008's final.
