Bundesliga restarts with top table clash

The Bundesliga emerges from its long winter break with a tasty clash as high-flying Mönchengladbach take on league leaders Bayern Munich Friday evening. Deutsche Welle will bring you a full match report.

First-placed Bayern Munich will travel to third-placed Mönchengladbach on Friday night, in what is likely to be the pick of the weekend's fixtures.

Bayern, coached by multiple Champions League winner Pep Guardiola, are already seven points clear at the top of the table, and their unstoppable form so far has many pundits predicting the season will be little more than a procession to the title.

But the Foals have it all to play for in third - they're just four points behind Leverkusen and will be looking to make a challenge for second spot.
